Church of Good Shepherd BBQ, concert and Lightning Bug Fair coming up

Jun. 272019

RANGELEY — Church of the Good Shepherd has scheduled some of its annual events for Fourth of July, as well as the week after.
The annual chicken barbecue will be from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, at the church, 2614 Main St.
Those attending may eat onsite or get takeout. A meal ticket is $12, $7 for those 12 and under, and those under 3 eat for free. And there’s a great view from the lawn for the Town Park fireworks show.
At 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, Robert Ludwig will present the 12 annual Stars and Stripes Concert. The hour-long concert features a varied program of classical and popular music on the church’s Allen organ and Mason and Hamlin grand piano, and always concludes with an inspiring patriotic sing-a-long honoring the branches of the armed forces and the United States.
From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, the Episcopal Church Women will host the Lightning Bug Craft and Vendor Fair. There will be a light lunch for purchase from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Vendors interested in space may call the church at 207-864-3381 and leave a message.
