POLAND — The 10th annual Heritage Day and Strawberry Festival will be held on Saturday, June 22.The celebration is held each year on the grounds of the Poland Spring Resort & Preservation Park.

Many local nonprofits and vendors will be on site with booths and displays, illustrating the vibrant Poland community and celebrating the important role the town has played in Maine’s history. Approximately 1,500 festival visitors are expected to attend.
Poland Spring Water has been a major sponsor of the community event since it began. This year the brand will again host a hydration station, which will dispense free Poland Spring water for those who want to refill their reusable water bottles.
The Heritage Day Celebration will also include the Deputy Dennis P. Sampson Community 5k Run/Walk to benefit a scholarship fund in memory of the veteran police officer who died last year. The scholarship will go to a graduating Poland Regional High School student entering the field of first responders. There is a registration fee to enter the race.
