READFIELD — A Summer Reading Kickoff Party will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, June 17, at the Readfield Community Library.
This year’s theme is “A Universe of Stories.” Those who sign up will get a frozen treat at the party.
Also at the library, the Cribbage Club meets Wednesdays, and is encouraging interested folks to drop in and play and bring a board if desired. All levels are welcome to stop by the first Wednesday of the month from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. and the third Wednesday of the month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The Book Club will take a break for the summer and will return in September.
