AUGUSTA — The drawing for Maine’s moose hunting permits will take place Saturday, June 8 at Cabela’s in Scarborough.
The event will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., including a full day of presentations, giveaways, demonstrations and fun activities for the whole family.
The International Invitational Moose Calling Contest will take place at 12:30 p.m. and the drawing of permits will begin at 2 p.m.
The full results will be made available online by 6 p.m. Saturday at mefishwildlife.com.
