TURNER — The Rev. Peter Panagore, an author and inspirational speaker will discuss his near-death experiences at 10 a.m. Sunday, June 16, at the First Universalist Church.
Panagore “is a master storyteller and highly regarded guest speaker, teacher, and workshop leader who tours nationally,” according to a news release, which said he has made appearances on many national and regional TV and radio shows.

His long-running two-minute inspirational daily TV spot on Maine’s NBC-affiliate, “Daily Devotions,” “brought love, light and hope” to thousands of viewers, the release said. In his work as an inspirational minister, he is producing a new podcast series on SoundCloud. He is also the author of “Heaven Is Beautiful: How Dying Taught Me That Death Was The Beginning,” and “Two Minutes For God: Quick Fixes For The Spirit,” and is at work on his third book.
