SIDNEY — The town’s Memorial Day parade will begin at 10 a.m., Monday, May 27.
A ceremony following the parade will be held at the Sidney Grange Memorial, 2986 Middle Road. Master of ceremonies is Brig. Gen. Donald O. Lagace Jr. Pastor Chrissy Cataldo from the Winthrop Congreational Church UCC will deliver the invocation.
A soloist from Messalonskee High School and the Kennebec Valley Chordsmen will provide music.
Girl Scouts and Boys Scouts will be represented; Boy Scout Troop 401 will serve lunch following the ceremony.
Maureen’s Dance Studio will present a dance program.
All veterans and community members are welcome to attend to honor veterans those no longer with us.
