Cancer survivors sought for June 4 focus group in Norway

NORWAY — MaineHealth Cancer Care Network is seeking cancer survivors who ended treatment within the last two years for a focus group to on survivorship journeys.
The time after treatment ends can be challenging for some cancer patients, and the health system wants to help make it better. MaineHealth is interested in learning more about survivor experiences once active treatment (chemotherapy or radiation) was finished, and what it was like trying to find a new normal.
The group will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, in the Ripley Medical Office Building, 193 Main St. Participants will get a $35 Hannaford gift card. Snacks and drinks will also be provided.
