Norway library hosts talk on attracting pollinators, birds to garden June 4

NORWAY — The Norway Memorial Library will host “How to Attract Pollinators and Birds in Your Yard” from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 4.

Presenter Rebecca Long, of the UMaine Cooperative Extension in South Paris, will offer tips on how to make a backyard habitable for butterflies, bees and birds, explaining why they are needed in o gardens.
The program is part of the library’s series “A Conversation About Nature.” The series explores the relationship with nature.
The program is free and open to the public; the library, at 258 Main St., is accessible for those with disabilities.
