READFIELD — Readfield Union Meeting House will hold its third International Dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at Maranacook Community High School student center, 2250 Millard Harrison.
A buffet of foods from around the world will be prepared and served by RUMH members and community volunteers. Brightly colored tablecloths and small international flag centerpieces will adorn the tables.
Diners will be able to sample all dishes offered.
Menu items this year will be Indian Butter Chicken, Cuban pork sandwiches, Italian risotto, Thai fish, European-style cabbage rolls, Caribbean apple mango slaw, Swedish meatballs, Portuguese sausage stuffed peppers, and Moroccan Mmoussaka; for desert, Italian cannoli. Coffee, tea or lemonade also will be served. There will be a 50/50 raffle during the evening.

All proceeds from the dinner will benefit the ongoing restoration of the Readfield Union Meeting House, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.>
