American Legion’s 100th birthday celebrated at Maine State House

The American Legion celebrated its 100th birthday March 15. As part of Maine’s American Legion celebration, a bronze plaque was unveiled in the State House Hall of Flags. Gov. Janet Mills read the proclamation honoring the American Legion for their service to Veterans over the past 100 years. Department of Maine, American Legion members and Governor Mills unveiled the plaque.
