AUBURN – The city of Auburn is planning a “monumental and meaningful’ Memorial Day celebration to help celebrate the city’s 150th anniversary.
The celebration during Auburn’s year-long anniversary celebration will take place Monday, May 27, and will feature a special Memorial Day parade, Auburn’s first ever “Art in the Park” juried art show, and much more.
There is a March 15 deadline to submit art for consideration in the art show.
The city is seeking participants for the parade and the art show.
The Memorial Day Parade will feature an enhanced parade route and cash prizes for various categories. Art in the Park will feature a juried show with cash prizes along with a vendor area for artists to display and sell their work.
Application deadline for the art show is March 15 and May 10 for the parade.
