The event will be hosted by Eric’s Angels at the Boofy Quimby Memorial Center, 96 Howe’s Corner Road in memory of Eric S. Dawes and his sister, Jennifer Dawes Gomm, who dedicated a lot of her time over the last seven years of her life to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of Needham, Mass., in memory of her brother. Dawes passed away Aug. 28, 2011, after a long battle with Crohn’s; his sister died Aug. 14.
Many of the wedding dresses have been donated by Kleinfled Bridal of “Say Yes to the Dress” fame. Most of the dresses are priced $75 or less and range in size from 0 to 30. For more information, call Lucy Dawes, 207-852-8364. The event is free and open to the public.
