The Gray-New Gloucester High School band was welcomed to the Maine State House Jan. 31 by Sen. Ned Claxton, D-Auburn, and Sen. Cathy Breen, D-Falmouth. The band performed the national anthem at the start of the day’s legislative session. “The Star-Spangled Banner” is played by various groups and individuals from around the state at the start of each legislative session.
