Center for Workforce & Professional Development offers proposals course

Jan. 302019

AUBURN — The Center for Workforce & Professional Development at Central Maine Community College will offer a course on “Persuasive Business Proposals” 2 to 5 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, Feb. 25 and 27.
The deadline for registration is Monday, Feb 18.

Simply put, people buy ideas and products from people they trust, which requires credibility, rapport and low risk. Since decisions are made based on both emotion and logic, learning how to create persuasive proposals that address both will result in better decision-making and increased success for you and the decision-makers you present to.
Students will have an opportunity to incorporate the four key elements of persuasion to ensure credibility, clear communication, understandable language and delivery in a manner inspiring action. The program is suited for anyone interested in improving their ability to write and present convincing and well-justified business proposals.
For more information, including cost, or to register, please contact the Center for Workforce & Professional Development at 207-755-5280, email workforcedevelopment@cmcc.edu or visit www.cmcc.edu/professionaldevelopment.
