Treat Memorial Library sets craft days, more for February

LIVERMORE FALLS — Treat Memorial Library is holding some special craft days in February, as well as other events for both adults and kids.

The library is holding a Valentine cards craft day at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, where those attending can make their own cards for the special people in their lives.

The Book Club will read the seventh book in its 10-part series on The Great American Read, Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry. Those who would like to take part must let the library staff know if they would like a copy of the novel. Book Club will meet at 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14. The discussion of Lonesome Dove will continue at March’s meeting.

On Saturday, Feb. 23, also at 11 a.m., there will be a Make and Take Craft Day.

Other events at the library include: LEGO Club is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16. February’s challenge will be to build something that can be powered by a fan. Story time at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesdays and Lost My Stitches knit and crochet group at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays.

The library will be closed Tuesday, Feb. 19, in observance of Presidents Day.
