LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Lunch Club recently received a $1,500 donation to the Rotary auction from Mechanics Savings Bank.
President Tom MacDonald and past President Monica Millhime thanked Rachel McKinley, marketing specialist at Mechanics Bank, on behalf of the club’s members for the bank’s support of its commitment to community projects and scholarships when McKinley present the pair with the check.
The auction is scheduled for 5 to 89 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at the Carriage House, 1119 Lisbon St.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. for item preview, followed by a buffet dinner at 6 p.m. Online reservations are available by visiting www.eventbrite.com/e/lewiston-auburn-rotary-club-auction-tickets-54064428160.
Raffle tickets will be available at the door. Entertainment will be provided by The Arnott Fiddlers, and the live auction starts at 8 p.m.
Thousands of dollars’ worth of auction and raffle items include tickets to New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox games. Ticket reservation deadline is Saturday, Feb. 9. Proceeds from the event will benefit local community projects and non-profit agencies.
