Leavitt Project Graduation auction seeks items, donations, storage space

Jan. 172019

TURNER — Plans are under for the Leavitt Area High School Project Graduation Committee’s annual auction, which will be held on Saturday, March 30.
The auction is the largest Project Graduation fundraiser. The preview portion will begin at 9 a.m., with the auction starting at 10 a.m.
Those who want to get involved may:

* Begin looking around the house, garage, barn, or business for articles that can be donated to the auction. The committee would greatly appreciate quality items in good condition and of some value, even that load of firewood, gravel, loam, crushed rock, mulch, that’s been sitting around, as those items are attractive additions to the auction.
* Help the committee find some storage space for donated items.
* Attend the auction and bid on items in any of these categories: crafted, collectibles, antiques, unique, delicious, events, excursions/trips and more.
* Connect with people you know or do business with about making a donation.
* Imagine the possibilities if everybody does something to contribute so that Leavitt’s graduates can have a wonderful, safe evening full of activities.
Those with questions, suggestions, storage space available, or an item to donate (the committee would like to start compiling a list), may contact auction co-chairs Bonnie Addison at addison.bonnie@gmail.com or Michelle Brown at michelle@stonegunshop.com.
