Tri-Town Optimist January Student of Month announced

The Mechanic Falls, Minot and Poland Tri-Town Optimist Club has announced that Ben Cushman is the January Regional School Unit16 Student of the Month. Ben is an eighth grader from Bruce Whittier Middle School, and is described by his teachers as a student who exemplifies the school’s core values of empathy, integrity, perseverance, loyalty, compassion and responsibility on a daily basis. Ben is always considerate of those around him. He strives for academic excellence and also participates in his school community through student council, cross country and guitar club.
