Soup, chowder, chili on the menu for Jan. 26 Otisfield fundraiser

OTISFIELD — The seventh annual Soup and Chowder Fest will be held Saturday, Jan. 26, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the East Otisfield Free Baptist Church, 231 Rayville Road, one mile from Route 121.

Homemade foods will include carrot ginger soup, turkey and wild rice stew, Dutch split pea soup, cheesy potato soup, Manhattan seafood chowder, chili and more.
The main course will be accompanied by breads, rolls and biscuits with a selection of jams and preserves, as well as beverages, followed by an assortment of cookies, bars and sweets.
Donations will be accepted and will be used to assist the needs of community residents.
