LEWISTON — The Lewiston Police Department is accepting applications for Citizens Police Academy, providing an inside look over the day-to-day operations of the department.
The program is an opportunity to engage with the department and to be informed on the services the department provides, to discuss current issues taking place both in Lewiston and in other communities, and to ask questions related to law enforcement.
The 10-week program will meet every Wednesday from Thursday, Jan. 30, through April 3. Classes start at 6 p.m. and last two hours.
