Church of Good Shepherd Christmas celebration schedule

RANGELEY — The Church of the Good Shepherd has announced its Christmas services scheduled.
Events at the Episcopal church, at 2614 Main St., are:

4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16 — Joy to the World, a program of entertaining stories about sacred and secular songs of the holidays and an inspirational and fun singing of favorites. There is no admission charge or donation, and the program is suitable for all ages.
7:30, 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23 — Holy Eucharist for the Fourth Sunday of Advent, with the Rev. Amelia Hagen as celebrant.
4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24 — Candlelit Christmas Eve communion service, carols with festive holiday sing-a-long and a reading of the Christmas story, including Silent Night accompanied by guitar, commemorating the 200th anniversary of its premiere on Dec. 24, 1818, in Oberndorf, Austria.
9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 25, Morning Prayer for Christmas Day, a brief spoken service celebrating the nativity.
7:30. 9:30 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 30, Liturgy of the Word and Holy Communion for the first Sunday after Christmas day, with the Rev. Deacon Ben Wetherill as officiant.<
