Franco Center’s ‘Holiday in Lights’ is Dec. 15

LEWISTON — The fifth annual “Holiday in Lights,” with Mitch Thomas and Friends, will take place at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 at the Gendron Franco Center, 46 Cedar St.
The doors and bar will open at 6 p.m. for a pre-show reception.

Thomas will present several seasonal favorites, including some of his own compositions and arrangements, including “Light a Candle for Peace” and “The Friendly Beasts.”
Thomas is a pianist/singer/songwriter, the center’s executive director and directs and performs at Community Little Theatre.
The event features several other local artists, including Tony Morin, local guitarist and singer; Hayden Thomas, who played teen Fiona in CLT’s production of “Shrek, the Musical”; Kristen J. Thomas and Nakesha (Kay) Warren, who both starred in CLT’s production of “Sister Act”; soloist Sue Caron and CLT director, pianist and composer, Paul G. Caron.
Also appearing are Maddy Leslie, who has performed in many Community Little Theatre productions; Mia- Angelina Leslie; Carl Steidel, often a featured baritone with the Maine Music Society; and other Maine vocalists Jay Barrett, Caroline Young Coffin and Justin Reid; trumpeter Jody Steidel; violinists Aya Wakita, Ryan Spooner and Josh White; bassist, Jeff Munson; guitarist Neil James; organist Jon Whitmore; pianist Dan Burgess; and drummer Jeff Mayerson.
