AUGUSTA — The Kennebec Historical Society will host a Victorian Tea Party from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, at its headquarters, the Henry Weld Fuller Jr. House, 107 Winthrop St.
The public is invited to join in the celebration of the holiday season.
If the weather does not cooperate, the tea will be held Sunday, Dec. 16 at the same time. The Victorian Tea is a return to the “olden days,” when this event was held in the past for a number of years.
There will be a variety of goodies to sample, including cookies, snacks, coffee and tea, surrounded by festive decorations and holiday musical selections by Christopher Faris.
