BRIDGTON — The Lake Region Community Chorus will present its sixth annual holiday concert on Friday, Dec. 7, and Sunday, Dec. 9, at the Twitchell Chapel, Bridgton Academy.
The concerts will be performed at 7 p.m. Dec. 7 and 3 p.m. Dec. 9.
The choral group is made up of 55 singers from 14 surrounding towns. They will present a program that is made up of songs of many different styles and genres. The program will include accompaniments by percussionist Rusty Wiltjer and electric bassist Mark Priola. Musicians from the chorus include Ginny Halligan, flute, Pam Ward, guitar, Jan Jukkola, clarinet and Glen Jukkola, violin.
The LRCC is directed by Jan Jukkola, Susan Stockwell and Dan Allen. The group is accompanied by Carolyn Stanhope and Sara-Sue Schreiber.
There is no admission fee, but donations to help cover purchasing of music and operating costs will be accepted.
