LEEDS — With the winter just gearing up, Rural Community Action Ministry is raising money to buy fuel for area residents in need.
Raffle winners will be drawn on Monday Dec. 3.
Prizes include a queen-sized quilt, made and donated by Ellen Eldridge; a handmade jewelry box, made and donated by Tom Hamilton; two greens fees, donated by Springbrook Golf Club, Leeds; and coffee from New Mexico, donated by Geoff Miller.

Rural Community Action Ministry is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to eradicating rural homelessness and hunger. It has worked to provide services to vulnerable rural families since 1970. Its purpose is to work with people to meet their needs for safe, adequate shelter, clothing, food and basic well-being in a manner that maintains or improves their self-worth and dignity.
