LEWISTON — Franco center Chef John Pulsifer and his staff will be baking homemade pies for people to pick up on the days before Christmas Eve.
Options include a variety of fruit pies, including apple, blueberry, blackberry, cherry, strawberry and more. Soft filling pies include lemon meringue, Boston cream, various custards, pumpkin and many others. The chef will be making several cream pies, as well as tourtiere (ground pork) and fresh red salmon.
Gluten-free crusts and “no sugar added” fillings are also available for an additional $5 for each pie. All pies will be made to order.
Pies range from $13 to $19. Orders can be made by calling the center at 207-783-1585 for an order form or stopping in any day between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The deadline for ordering is 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21.
