AVON — The annual Children’s Christmas Shopping Day, sponsored by the Phillips Community Church, 2 Sawyer St., will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Avon Town Hall, 1116 Rangeley Road.
Children are asked to bring a list of family members for whom they would like to buy a gift, including age and name. Santa’s helpers will accompany the children as they make their choices, and will wrap the gifts.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be available for pictures.
