BRIDGTON — A watercolor painting by Polly Hayton will be raffled off at the Dec. 7 reception at Gallery 302 to raise scholarship fund money.
As a well-respected watercolorist, Hayton was a member of the gallery and the Bridgton Art Guild.
When Hayton died a few years ago, her family donated several of her watercolors to the guild to help with its fundraising efforts.
The watercolor, “Spring Garden,” is framed and measures 10-by-11.5 inches. Money from the raffle will be used to provide scholarships to area high school graduates interested in studying visual art in college.
Raffle tickets may be bought between now and the reception, which is open to the public and is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. at the gallery, 112 Main St.
