CLT ‘Lend Me A Tenor’ production crew announced

AUBURN — Director Mitchell Clyde Thomas has announced the production crew for the upcoming Community Little Theatre production of Ken Ludwig’s “Lend Me A Tenor.”
The second show of CLT’s 79th season will open Friday, Jan. 11, at Great Fall Performing Arts Center, 30 Academy St., and will run for two weekends.

The farce, set in 1934, features opera star Tito Merelli, who, in a fit of despair after a huge fight with his wife, takes too many pills and slips into unconsciousness only minutes before the curtain. Max, the lowly office assistant and opera singer wannabe, is ordered to take Tito’s place and fool the opera aficionados of Cleveland. With countless doors and several mistaken identities, passion runs rampant as the situation resolves in a spectacular ending. This fast-paced comedy will leave sides aching from laughter.
The production crew for “Lend Me a Tenor” includes Mitchell Clyde Thomas, director; Hayden Thomas, co-producer and assistant stage manager; and Sarah Wing, assistant stage manager and prompter. Standing, Matt Conklin, lighting operator; Dan Kane, assistant director, co-producer and set director; Roger Philippon, publicity; Jane Mitchell, costumer; and Brandon Chaloux, stage manager.
Also, Becca Tinkham, set décor; Richard Martin, lighting designer; and stage crew members Bobby Kirkland and Alec Latulippe. Thomas is still looking for volunteers to work on makeup and hair.
The show will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Jan. 11, 12, Thursday through Saturday, Jan. 17, 18 and 19; and 2 p.m. Sundays, Jan. 13 and 20.
