STRATTON — The Dead River Area Historical Society’s annual meeting will take place at 11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, at the Community Building on Main Street.
A pot luck dinner and pig-in-a-poke auction will follow the meeting. For the auction, put something in a brown paper bag. All ages and everyone is welcome.
The slate of officers for 2019 to be voted on will be as follows: President/Treasurer Mary Henderson, Vice President Lenny Hobbs, Secretary Hazel Hogan and directors Ken Wing, June Parsons, Alan Burnell and Emerson Dyer.
In an effort to interest more people in joining the society, each member is asked to bring a guest.
