Holiday craft fairs hosted by the High Street Congregational Church in Auburn, Viles Arboretum in Augusta and the Freeport Lions Club have been added to slate of central and mid-coast Maine holiday fairs on that date.

The High Street Congregational Christmas Craft and Vendor Fair, will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the church, 106 Pleasant St., Auburn.
The fair features Maine artisans and craftspeople offering handmade candies, jewelry, knit, crocheted and sewn goods, RADA Cutlery and popular Christmas gift items. It also offers Cabot’s Private Stock cheddar cheese, which comes directly from Vermont and is difficult to find in local markets. There is also a very popular White Elephant Room.
Breakfast sandwiches, soup, sandwiches and other goodies made by the church cooks are available to eat in or take out.

Viles Aboretum
The Viles Arboretum craft show will be from 9 a.m. to 2 .m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Arboretum, 153 Hospital St., Augusta.
The Viles Arboretum is on 224 acres of fields, forests, wetlands and with botanical collections from around the world and offers an ever-changing selection of inspirational exhibits, educational and practical programs for the general public and for schools. We focus on interactive, creative and hands-on teaching with a focus on botany and natural history. Its goal is to unlock everyone’s natural ability to understand the nature of our world through your own eyes and by using your own intellect.

Freeport Lions Club
The Freeport Lioness-Lions Club Annual Craft Fair is being held at a new location this year. The fair is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Mast Landing School, 11 Mollymauk Lane (off Bow Street).
Lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. will feature the club’s fish chowder and chili. There will also be baked goods, fudge, pies and more for sale, as well as lots of hand-made items. Raffle drawings are hourly and there is free coffee and lots of fun. The club would like to thank everyone who supported the October Bake Sale and White-Cane Day collection. Glasses, hearing aids and cellphones are always accepted to be repurposed for those in need.
