WINTHROP — The Kennebec Land Trust is hosting a wreath-making workshop that will teach sustainable balsalm fir-tipping techniques.
Participants will go home with a handmade fir wreath following the workshop, taught by Dave Fuller, of the University of Maine Cooperative Extension.
Fuller will discuss Maine’s balsam fir industry as well.
The workshop is 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Ladd Recreation Center in Wayne. Those attending should bring hand shears and light gloves.
