Oxford Hills graduate earns Presidential Scholarship to Berea Wallace University

BEREA, Ohio — Maighread Laliberte, of Norway, Maine, earned a $17,000 President’s Scholarship based on her high school academic achievements to attend Baldwin Wallace University.
Laliberte was among nearly 600 first-year students in the first-year class at the university to claim more than $7.7 million in merit scholarships.

She is a graduate of Oxford Hills High School, and majoring in neuroscience biology and biology. BW’s merit scholarships are awarded to full-time students and are renewable up to four years with good academic and social standing.
BW grants a wide range of scholarships to current students each year, including merit and need-based scholarships. BW students received more than $48 million in financial support from the university for the 2018-2019 academic year.
Baldwin Wallace University, founded in 1845, was one of the first colleges to admit students without regard to race or gender. An independent coeducational university of 4,000 students, BW offers coursework in the liberal arts tradition in more than 80 academic areas.
