Maine Music Society Battle of the Blends is Nov. 3

LEWISTON — The Maine Music Society will host Battle of the Blends XXV at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Gendron Franco Center.
The event features seven a cappella groups from around Maine and one from Boston, performing jazz, barbershop, pop, rock ‘n’ roll and Renaissance music.

Groups participating are the Crosstones (Bates College), Fermata NoWhere (Edward Little High School), the Maine Music Society Chamber Singers, the Meddiebempsters (Bowdoin College), None of the Above (Boston), the women’s barbershop Royal River Chorus (Yarmouth) and Vocal Solution (Waterford).
