FRYEBURG –Dwain Chase, owner of Royal Haven Farm in Wilton, recently received an award at the Fryeburg Fair for his many years of service.
Chase began attending the Fryeburg Fair as a young child, and he continues that tradition today, even though he is now in his 70’s. For many years, Chase has manned the Ox & Steer information booth.
Chase is one in a long line of farmers; he and members of his family are carrying on that tradition as well, traveling to fairs and shows to participate in steer competitions.
