L-A Optimist Club hears about Catholic Charities Refugee and Immigration Services

Lewiston-Auburn Optimist Club guest speaker Hannah DeAngelis, left, is presented with her copy of the Optimist Creed by L-A Optimist Club vice president Angie Snowe recently. Representing Catholic Charities Refugee and Immigration Services, DeAngelis spoke to the club about its programs and recounted several local refugee success stories. She also explained differences between refugee programs and asylum-seekers programs.
