Morra is Western Maine Art Group featured artist for October

NORWAY — Anthony Morra is the October featured artist at the Main Street Gallery.
A reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12.

Morra began painting after his mother, artist Pam Morra, convinced him to give it a try. He started painting by taking weekly oil painting workshops with Auburn artist Michael Ranucci. Anthony holds a deep interest in the classic style of traditional oil paintings.
The gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
The gallery is sponsored by the Western Maine Art Group, and from April through November special focus is given to the work of a different member.
