LEWISTON — Androscoggin Home Healthcare + Hospice was once again named by the Maine State Council of the Society for Human Resources management as a recipient of the 2018 “Best Places to Work in Maine” program.
The “Best Places to Work in Maine” recognizes companies establishing and consistently fostering outstanding workplace environments. The organization managing the program, Best Companies Group, gathers information from all registered organizations including employee benefits, workplace policies and employee responses to a comprehensive satisfaction survey.
Participating companies receive an employee feedback report in an effort to help them improve their scores. The report summarizes employee engagement and satisfaction data, and includes employees written comments. The report is used by many for-profit companies and non-profit organizations to make significant improvements in their workplace culture.
The program is part of a long term initiative to encourage growth and excellence in businesses throughout the state. The winners, split into difference size categories, will be revealed in ranked order at an awards celebration on October 9 at the Augusta Civic Center.
Androscoggin was named “Best Places to Work in Maine” beginning in 2006-2016, and has won second and fourth place in the large employer category of 250 or more employees.
