HIRAM — Every apple has a story, and Sean Turley, heirloom apple aficionado, will tell some of them in Hiram at the Great Ossipee Museum of Hiram Historical Society on Saturday, Oct. 13.
Turley will speak at 1:30 p.m., after the 1 p.m. business meeting.
Those attending may bring an apple and any apple photos they have. Old photos of Hiram’s apple orchards and pickers and their stories will be featured. The Hiram Historical Society is at 20 Historical Ridge (off Main Street). The meeting is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. For more information, call 207-625-4762.
