RANGELEY — The Maine Forestry Museum will hold its annual Apple Harvest Festival from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 2614 Main St.
The festival starts out with a lumberjack breakfast, served from 9 a.m. until the food runs out.
The breakfast includes pancakes with syrup, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, home fries, fresh pressed apple juice, coffee, tea or milk. The breakfast is $10 for an adult and $5 for children under 12.
In addition to breakfast, the festival includes artists, crafters and vendors, apple pressing demonstrationss (bring your own container), chainsaw carving demonstrations, Tin Can Auction, 50/50 raffle, free pumpkin decorating for children and more. There is no admission charge to the festival.Admission to the festival is free.
The festival coincides with Oktoberfest in Rangeley so there will be a lot more going on.
