Lewiston summer recreation participant Bernardo Fra’nero runs the 400 meter dash during the USTAF youth championship at Cony High School on Aug. 11. The 8-year-old finished fourth among 16 competitors in his age division. The Lewiston team of youngsters, ages 7 to 14, had a good showing at the summer’s final event, including winning the 4×100 relay in the 13-14 age group.
