RANGELEY — Oktoberfest Weekend will kick off with the fifth annual Brat & Strudel Contest on Thursday, Sept. 27.
Local chefs will serve samples of their best brat and strudel recipes for judging by the public and a panel of German judges.
The contest will be held at the Rangeley Inn from 5 to 7 p.m.
Oktoberfest lasts through Sunday, Sept. 30. A full schedule of events will be available soon.
