HARTFORD — The Hartford Community Church’s clothing closet most likely will close its doors for good this fall, said member Lorelee Swan.
The church will hold a “bag sale” every Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. until sometime in November to give away clothes from the center. The bags are 13-gallon size, will hold clothing, and will be sold for $1 each. Members may fill bags with clothes laid out on tables.
The clothing closet is in the schoolhouse across from the church.
