GREENE – Tom Martin of Greene has announced his candidacy for the Maine House of Representatives for House District 57, which includes the towns of Greene and Sabattus.
A Maine native, Martin has extensive experience in the private and public sector, which includes serving as CEO for a consulting and construction company as well as public service previously being elected to the Maine Legislature as a Republican state senator.
“I’m running for state representative to bring civility and practical problem solving to state government,” Martin said. “As someone who has worked in both the public sector and as a business owner, I understand the basic principles our state needs; spending less than our we take in for revenues, allowing us to reduce the tax burden and stimulate growth in our economy.”
