Maine JobCorps offers free training for those 16-24 years old

AUGUSTA — Anyone between the ages of 16 and 24 interested in jumpstarting a career may contact JobCorps for free training, the organization announced.

Those attending may choose from several career opportunities including health care, culinary arts, business administration, construction, electrical and auto mechanics. Job Corps also offers the opportunity to get a high school diploma or HSE, also at no cost, and a driver’s license at the same time.
Those participating may puruse a career goals while earning wages, receiving room and board and more. There is free job placement upon completion.
