L-A area residents graduate from Bates

LEWISTON — A number of local residents were amont the 473 students from 39 states and 42 countries who graduated from Bates College on May 27.
Among area graduates are:

Rakiya Mohamed, of Auburn, who majored in biological chemistry and African American studies. Mohamed is a 2014 graduate of Edward Little High School.
Brianna Wilson, of Lewiston, who majored in biological chemistry and minoring in anthropology. Wilson is a 2014 graduate of Lewiston High School.
Kiernan Majerus-Collins, of Auburn, who graduated after majoring in history and minoring in Asian studies. Majerus-Collins is a 2013 graduate of Hall High School.
Kwamae Delva, of Lewiston, who majored physics. Delva is a 2014 graduate of Dekalb Early College Academy.
Kelly Philbrook, of Auburn, who majored in psychology. Philbrook is a 2012 graduate of Edward Little High School.
Levi Morin, of Turner, who majored in economics and minored in education. Morin is a 2014 graduate of Leavitt Area High School.
Dylan Thombs, of Monmouth, who majored in environmental studies and minored in education. Thombs is a 2014 graduate of Monmouth Academy.
