Western Maine Art Group Juried Art Show winners announced

NORWAY –The Western Maine Art Group recently announced the winners of this year’s Juried Art Show, held during the Norway Music and Arts Festival at the Matolcsy Art Center.

The prizes were awarded to Melanie Tornberg, first prize for “The UU Church in Spring;” Suzanne Hardy, second place for “Buoys;” Barbara Traficonte, third prize for “Into the Woods.” Honorable Mention ribbons were awarded to Judy Schneider for “Wayfinding” and to Jo Thomas for “Monet Styled.”
Westbrook artist Mary Brooking judged this year’s competition.
