OQUOSSOC — The Rangeley Friends of the Arts’ 38th annual Art in August will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2.
Artists’ exhibits will be in Oquossoc Park.
Prizes will be awarded in both categories. Ribbons will be presented early so that, throughout the day, the public can enjoy viewing the winning pieces.
RFA will host the Westerhoff Family Foundation Concert at 7 p.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 2614 Main St., Rangeley. There is no admission fee, but donations will be accepted.
It will be the Westerhoff’s last concert in Rangeley, a place they have visited and loved since 1970. Since 2005, Helga and Gary Westerhoff have brought free classical concerts to Rangeley featuring the faculty members of their Westerhoff School of Music and Art in Metuchen, N.J.
