Kennebec Land Trust annual meeting, 30th anniversary celebration is Aug. 19

FAYETTE — The Kennebec Land Trust will host its annual meeting Sunday, Aug. 19, at Camp Winnebago on Echo Lake.
KLT is celebrating 30 years of land conservation in central Maine The event is open to KLT members and the public, but a spot must be reserved by Aug. 6 and there is an admission charge.

The day will feature the fifth annual Tri-Sport Challenge (swim, paddle, and run); paddling and botany workshops; a cookout and potluck meal; music by The Oshima Brothers and the annual meeting. All are welcome.
KLT’s newest conservation projects will be featured — the Ezra Smith Wildlife Conservation Area, Egypt Pond Conservation Area, Wakefield Wildlife Sanctuary, and the Effie L. Berry Conservation Area.
