Jul. 112018

RANGELEY — A pair of programs focusing on Rangeley’s history, sponsored by the Rangeley Lakes Regional Historical Society, will be held at the RFA Lakeside Theater.

There will be a live stage performance about Rangeley’s first settlers at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 14, at RFA Lakeside Theater, 2493 Main St.
The cost for RLRHS members is $7, general admission is $10, and tickets are available in advance at the Outdoor Heritage Museum, Routes 4 and 17 in Oquossoc, or at the door.
A presentation of Rangeley 3-D vintage stereographs will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, and Wednesday, July 18, also at Lakeside Theater.
Participants will view the 19th century Rangeley region as never before seen, using modern large screen projection and 3D glasses to view vintage “stereo views” as the museum director, Bill Pierce narrates.
The evening will feature live music by Stan Keach and Ben Godsoe, vintage film, refreshments and a silent auction. All seats are $8.
Tickets are also available at the Outdoor Heritage Museum.
Both events are a collaboration of Rangeley Lakes Regional Historical Society and the Rangeley Friends of the Arts, who will benefit directly by all sales at the cash bar and concession stand.
